I’ve been using the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation creme for a few months. I like to give skincare products a longer trial period before speaking about them. With that said, I’m in love with the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation moisturizer!
While my skin tends to be more on the normal side, it is acne prone, so I have to use oil-free products. If coconut oil touches my face or body, I break out into painful pimples. There are tons of moisturizers labeled as “for all skin types” that work for only dry skin or oily skin. However, I felt that the Sheer Transformation really lived up to the label! Most products either dry my skin out to combat acne or over moisturize with heavy oils that clog pores. This Ole Henriksen moisturizer absorbed well and I haven’t broken out from using it. In fact, my recent breakouts have been linked to makeup or not cleaning my brushes (I’m super guilty of this).
Light Scent & Texture
The scent is really light and disappears quickly. I am very sensitive to over-perfumed products; so I really appreciate that the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation scent doesn’t linger. It is of a whipped, thin texture but a little goes a long way. I just dot my forehead cheeks and above my lip then blend it out.
The Sheer Transformation contains pea and licorice root extracts to help fade discoloration. It also states that it contains vitamin C to fight free radicals. My forehead had a few lines at the corners that seemed to diminish after some time. I did notice that some of my acne scars were fading better than before. However, I use masks and face polishes that contain chemical exfoliants from time to time. I can not 100% say that it helped my hyper pigmentation since I use other products for that.
I definitely recommend the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation to anyone looking to moisturize acne prone skin! It doesn’t clog pores or leave a greasy feeling. My cousin/bestie gave me it as a gift, but I plan to purchase once it’s finished.
